An exciting era opened when Chrysler announced the former race only 426 Hemi engine would be available in street derived form for 1966, and a simultaneous reworking of the Plymouth B Body for the 1966 model year provided a distinctly hard edged vehicle to house that already notorious engine.
The beautiful hemi Belvedere II offered here is a remarkable example of that inaugural appearance for a number of reasons.
This 66 was the beneficiary of a nut and bolt restoration that was owned and restored by Roger Gibson auto restoration and is about as close to original as you can get.
