Summary:
This position maintains the public parks, pool, burial grounds, and other Borough property by mowing, weed-whacking, removing brush and trash, painting, and cleaning facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
The essential functions may include the customary duties and responsibilities noted herein; however, the information below is not an exhaustive list of duties and instead serves as a representative sample of the expectations of the position.
Performs general lawn maintenance and a variety of manual tasks to clean and restore public park areas, the community pool, and other recreational facilities; uses tools and equipment such as tractors, power lawn mowers, push mowers, trimmers, and hand tools.
Demonstrates appropriate care and respect when maintaining burial grounds; ensures proper placement of fallen headstones, flags, and other memorials.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have possession of a valid Class C driver's license.

Work is performed indoors and outdoors, in all types of weather conditions, including low/high temperatures, precipitation, and wind.
Must be able to use body to work, move, or carry objects or materials.
Employee is subject to standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Requires moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
Requires safely operating machinery, power tools; motor vehicles, and/or heavy equipment.
Requires communicating with others to exchange information.
