Summary:
The Carlisle Family YMCA is seeking a Business Office Generalist to join our team.
The position is responsible for the execution of the day-to-day operations of the Business Office.
The Carlisle Family YMCA Business Office houses the Financial, Accounting, Human Resources, IT, Audit, and AP/AR operations of the organization.
This role will be involved with carrying out tasks in all areas of the department.
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day operational support in the business office.
Create monthly journals entries and bank reconciliations to prepare for end of month.
Regularly update and maintain company policies, procedures, and handbooks Prepare documentation and organization of files on a regular basis in preparation for the annual audit.
Work with departmental Directors to create and maintain job descriptions.
Assist in the creation of the annual organizational budget.
Provide support to Operational Directors as a subject matter expert on Business Office related topics.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with Business Office to implement.
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
Carryout special projects as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Skills &
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects on a regular basis.
