4K a year This position assumes a lead, collaborative, role in the support of academic resources, programs, systems, and special projects designed to enhance a student's academic (and holistic) experience.
This role works closely with cross-campus partners to develop, coordinate, and deliver programming that supports our students at moments of highest academic risk and possibility.
Engaging in a holistic, proactive, and data-informed academic focus the position will support incoming student transition, academic planning, major/career exploration, referrals to academic and student success support resources, developing and linking students to engagement in and sense of belonging activities, and facilitating connections to campus resources and opportunities best suited to individual interests and needs.
In collaboration with student life, enrollment management, and academic affairs colleagues, this role assists students, parents, faculty, and staff in navigating academic complexities that impact retention and persistence.
Responsible for building professional and personal relationships that enable the delivery of multiple forms of communication, often challenging/difficult, with students, parents, staff, and faculty.
Essential Functions:
Facilitate the holistic academic standards committee experience for students and faculty, as this high-risk but critical process is meant to assist students when they encounter the most difficult life circumstances.
Uses and monitors Navigate, Dickinson's student success support software, to assist in the development and delivery of strategic and highly engaging programming intentionally designed to support high-achieving students most at risk for transferring to another institution, as well as students who may be struggling academically.
Programming may include both individual and group activities, utilizing resources and programming across campus to serve as the foundation for engagement and student success.
Provide individual and group-level support for students who are on academic probation.
Work with Associate Dean to deliver probationary programming with cross-campus partnerships.
May also serve as a member of the College's cross-campus CARE team for students of concern.
Support the Associate Provost for Student Success and existing staff to deepen and strengthen Dickinson's academic and career development delivery.
Presentations to large and small audiences of current and prospective students, as well as to alumni and on-campus colleagues to advance the mission of student success is also key.
Strengthen and Sustain the Peer Tutoring program, in strong collaboration with appropriate campus partners.
Provide general advising support for faculty and students, including supervision of Peer Advisors working in the Student Success and Academic Advising department.

Bachelor's Degree Preferred:
Master's Degree A valid Driver's Licence is required.
Employees (operators) must have been in possession of a valid operator's license for not less than three (3) years and the license must have been in good standing without interruption during that time period.
No Successful candidate will also be required to complete ACT 153 Clearance Yes This position is considered Emergency Staff.
As such they may be required to report to work even when the college is closed or is operating under a delayed start.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
