Job DescriptionField Application EngineerWe are looking for 2 or more engineers who live in either Harrisburg/Carlisle, Allentown, or Scranton areas of Pennsylvania.
You would work every day at one of our customer sites helping with production issues ranging from mechanical, to electrical, to networking to software.
No one candidate will excel at all of these fields, but we look for someone with familiarity with all and a deeper knowledge in one or more of the other areas.
This is a hands on role and you will spend your time performing maintenance fixes to robots that are in production and then also pulling robots and conducting Preventative Maintenance to keep the robots in a good state of repair to hit our uptime guarantees.
Key
Responsibilities:
Perform hardware troubleshooting, including electronics, motors, and cabling, ensuring optimal functionality of the robot fleet.
Work hands-on with electromechanical systems in a shop environment, contributing to the efficient operation of the robots.
Conduct robot inspections and perform preventative maintenanceDiagnose and troubleshoot software issues, ensuring the smooth functioning of the robotic systems.
Administer Linux systems, particularly adept at utilizing ssh, grep, and working on the command line.
Demonstrate soldering expertise when necessary, maintaining and repairing electronic components.
Exhibit a quick learning ability and an exceptional work ethic, adapting swiftly to evolving challenges.
Must have first-rate attention to detail and be meticulous in all tasks.
