As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will:
Work one-on-one with children and adolescents with behavioral disorders in their homes, schools, and communities Utilize positive reinforcement, emotional support, psychosocial rehabilitative activities, and crisis intervention strategies Education, Experience, and Training requirements for a Behavioral Health Technician:
Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Education or other Human Services related field and 2 Years' Experience working with children (therapeutic support staff, paraprofessionals, personal care assistants (PCA), special education teacher's aides, etc.
) OR - Bachelor's or Associate's degree or A High School Diploma and willingness to complete a FREE 40-hour online RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) training before the first day of employment Passionate about serving children and families in their natural environments of home, school, and community Able to work a mix of day and evening hours At least 21 years of age A valid driver's license with reliable transportation to get to the homes and schools of clients What We Offer our Behavioral Health Technician:
