The Support Specialist will spend time working with each department in the practice in a supportive and developmental role learning and growing in their level of responsibility.
Greet patients and visitors Answer/ Triage incoming calls Verify patient demographic information Verify insurance information Check In/Out Collect copay/ Outstanding balance Schedule and confirm appointments Logging and scanning new patient demographics and medical histories.
Obtaining medical records for patients that were referred out for procedures Checking voicemails and returning patient calls.
Room Patients and document chief complaint Assist surgical team with prepping duties Additional duties may be added pending needs of the organization.
