PermanentSUMMARYThe Systems Engineer will research, design, develop and test operating systems-level software, including troubleshooting, patch management and security updates, software installations, system management for Windows Active Directory, etc.
Primary Functions and
Responsibilities:
Lead and assist with a wide variety of systems projects.
Windows server life cycle management, troubleshooting, and migrations.
Manage Active Directory and Group Policy in a multi domain environment.
Provide level 3 and level 4 support for end users to resolve reported problems.
Manage Microsoft services such as DNS, DHCP, and DFSR.
Deploy applications and PC imaging with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
Build and manage complex Remote Desktop environments.
Utilize PowerShell to manage enterprise systems.
Remediate security vulnerabilities.
Configure SQL databases in a clustered environment, script backup jobs, restore databases, migrate databases, and setup maintenance jobs.
Install, configure, and manage clustered ESXi hosts and VMs.
Monitor alerts and resolve problems reported by automated systems.
Support a variety of third-party applications.
Manage Microsoft CA issued and external SSL certificates.
Coach fellow team members on areas of expertise.
Respond to afterhours emergency support calls.
Communicate upcoming changes and project statuses verbally and through written means to both technical and non-technical staff.
Requirements:

Minimum five years of progressive experience in professional information technology position(s) is required.
Experience in Microsoft Server, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL server, Citrix, Windows Remote Desktop, Active Directory administration, Microsoft SharePoint and VMware administration are required;.
Ability to travel (10%)Preferences:

Advanced skills with Microsoft Server, Microsoft Office, Microsoft SQL server, Citrix, Windows Remote Desktop, Active Directory administration, Microsoft SharePoint and VMware administration are required; advance skills are preferred.

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (Information Technology, Information Systems) preferred.

Microsoft, Dell, and VMware certifications preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
