Do you hold a BS degree or greater in Accounting with 10 years of progressive accounting
responsibility and 5 years of management/supervision experience? Seeking a professional

Lycoming County Water and Sewer Authority, an independent operating water,
wastewater, stormwater authority with approximately 8,500 accounts and a $6.5M
budget,
is accepting applications for Finance Director. This position is a full-time salaried position
responsible for completing, directing and managing the activities related to general
accounting and business operations as well as manage day to day administrative functions with four (4) direct reports.

Essential duties include
financial reporting and budgeting,
financial planning/analysis, rate setting,
customer service/billing,
capital planning/tracking,
business management & strategic planning, and
grant administration and money management.

The Finance Director is an executive management team member reporting to the Executive
Director and to the Board.

The successful candidate must demonstrate ability to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate,
assign, evaluate, complete and manage their work, the work of staff, auditors, and outside
consultants. Excellent computer and software skills with a focus on advanced Excel
knowledge are required. Fund accounting, utility experience, and/or cost accounting
background is a plus! Successful candidate must be professional in dealing with customers,
have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and be team oriented. The position
requires a background check, drug testing and a valid drivers license.

Salary range is $90,000 - $105,000 and is dependent on education, progressive successful
work history, proven reliability in managing higher level responsibilities, supervisory/team
building skills, and strategic planning & business management experience. Excellent

Relocation package is available. Consider joining our team in Lycoming County. We are
located in the greater Williamsport area - best known as the Home of Little League
Baseball and situated along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River and its tributaries
streams. This community has a small-town feel but enjoys cultural events, great food, and
two exceptional higher educational institutions - Lycoming College & Penn College. If you
love the outdoors biking, hiking, fishing, hunting this may be the place for you! If you still desire the big city - we are less than four hours from New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh,
Baltimore and Washington DC.

The position is open due to a pending retirement and has the advantage of training with the
current Finance Director. The position is in person/on site.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
